Rhiannon was in her late twenties when she was turned into a vampire, and she was not given her position in court. It was through hard, dirty work that the woman rose to be able to purchase her right to succeed Earl Roderick to become Lady Rhiannon Pryce of Essex. Rhiannon used ruthless tactics to gain the assistance of the Autumn Court of the Fey which allowed her to move into a position to gain access to the throne. The older gentry have a shared loathing with Rhiannon as she has with them, and she would depose them all if she had the opportunity.
